Joseph Botta, M.D.
I am a board certified, fellowship trained geriatrician and internist who has enjoyed practicing in Northeast Connecticut over the last 18 years. I started the practice in 2009 to give patients the attention and care they need in the office, as well as in the hospital and nursing home setting.
I love to run, ski, play ice hockey and work on our tropical fish tanks (come check out our fish tanks!). I live in Woodstock and I love spending time with my family.
David Candow, M.D.
For the last 20 years, I have served as a physician in Northeast Connecticut and take great pride in being a reliable and trustworthy advocate for my patients. I firmly believe that a doctor who is attentive and thorough with each patient's individual needs produces a personalized and comprehensive level of quality healthcare.
Outside of my love for the practice of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys, running, biking, hiking, snow skiing and listening to 80's music.
Ron Klare, M.D.
I have been an internal medicine physician for over 40 years in the northeast corner of Connecticut with a special interest in cardiology and vascular disease. As a former director of Day Kimball Hospital's ICU, I joined Botta & Associates in March 2020 to continue to care for this area's residents.
Outside of the office I enjoy relaxing at home with my wife as well as spending a warm month in Aruba each year.
Elizabeth Hagan, R.N.
As a graduate of St. Joseph College in West Hartford, I have been a Registered Nurse since 2008. Additionally, in 2017 I became a Certified Foot Care Specialist from American Foot Care Nurses Association.
Some of my personal interests include exercising, weight training, reefing and salt water fish care.
Mary Jean Brown
After working in medical offices in the area, I joined Dr. Botta at the Center for Healthy Aging in 2008. When Dr. Botta started his current membership medical practice in 2009, I came along as the practice manager. I oversee the day to day operations of the practice, and I enjoy getting to know our patients and helping them navigate the medical and insurance system.
My husband and I enjoy hiking the national parks and spending time with our family.
After working for 30 years at a local primary care office, I joined Botta & Associates in 2013 as a medical assistant and front desk receptionist. I enjoy talking with patients and sharing my love of books and authors. I helped start our lending library which has been a success, giving patients an opportunity to share their favorite books.
At home, I enjoy painting and celebrating my Estonian heritage and culture.
