Joseph J. Botta, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained geriatrician and internist at Joseph J Botta, MD & Associates, LLC, serving adults living in Windham County, Southern Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.Dr. Botta earned his medical degree from The Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine New York State/American Program.
Following graduation, he completed an internship, residency, and fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.Dr. Botta opened his private practice in 2009 with the goal of providing complete health care to adults in Northeast Connecticut. He provides in-office consultations, as well as house calls, nursing home care, and hospital care.
Dr. Botta loves getting to know the individuals in his care. He takes the time to understand their unique symptoms and concerns and develops custom treatment plans that encourage optimal health and vitality. When he isn’t meeting with patients, Dr. Botta enjoys spending time with his family and caring for the practice’s tropical fish tanks. He’s also an athlete who enjoys running, skiing, and playing ice hockey.
